Notes: This was my first time seeing Lauren Harges (5-7 ’24 G Grenada 15 pts 1 3’s 2 reb 7 ast 5 st) play and she can go. She is so quick and shifty. Possibly her biggest asset is her passing. She ended up with 7 assists but it probably should’ve been ten plus if baskets would’ve been made. She is a great option for next level coaches to get an eye on.

Notes: Saltillo started the game out strong and put it on cruise control. Grenada kept the foot on the gas and caught up. Grenada got their first lead of the game at the 5:44 mark in the fourth quarter at 46-45. The Chargers got the victory in the extra frame. Caleb Howard (6-5 ’24 F Grenada 15 pts 2 3’s 14 reb 4 ast 2 blk) earned Player of the Game honors with a big double-double. His boards were a huge factor in the comeback win. Travis Wilks (5-8 ’24 G Grenada 24 pts 5 3’s 7 reb 2 ast 1 st) came off the bench bombing to reach a game high 24 points. Kelton Jones (6-4 ’24 F Grenada 10 pts 2 3’s 7 reb 4 ast) also showed deep range in the win for Coach Cooley.

For Saltillo, Cayden Howell (6-3 ’24 G Saltillo 22 pts 4 3’s 2-2 ft 4 reb 1 ast) surpassed the 1,500 point club for his career in the second quarter. Jack Adams (5-11 ’25 G Saltillo 19 pts 5 3’s 1 reb 2 ast 3 st 1 charge taken) shot the ball well from long range. Gunner Wesson (6-2 ’24 G Saltillo 11 pts 1 3’s 2-2 ft 7 reb 6 ast 1 st) didn’t have the best shooting night so he contributed with his all-around game. He was working on a triple-double for the Tigers. Beacone Stewart (5-11 ’24 G Saltillo 10 pts 2 3’s 9 reb 1 ast 2 st) continued to rebound well from the guard spot for Coach Howell.
