 Columbus Falcons 7-1 (#1 6A Columbus, MS) 57

Notes: Wow what a game. It started out with Booneville getting the big lead and then trying to slow the pace. That allowed Columbus to get rolling. Dalton Jackson (5-11 ’25 PG Booneville 8 pts 1 3’s 5 reb 4 ast 1 st) nailed the game winning shot. Landon Brown (6-3 ’24 SG Booneville 22 pts 5 3’s 4 reb 2 ast 1 blk 2 st) continued his hot shooting. I think Camryn Hampton (6-6 ’26 F Booneville 2 pts 4 reb 1 ast 4 blk 1 st) is starting to get it figured out in the starting rotation. He is becoming the rim protector and rebounder that this Booneville team needs.

Mike Hood (6-3 ’25 F Columbus 16 pts 10 reb) was the key to Columbus getting rolling in the second half. His rebounding gave life to the Falcons. Jace O’Neal (6-3 ’25 G Columbus 9 pts 1-1 ft 2 reb 6 ast 2 st) about cleared the gym out with a posterizing And-1 dunk in the fourth quarter. Jayden Tatum (6-4 ’24 G Columbus 15 pts 3 3’s 2 reb 1 ast) was off in the first half but started connecting on his jumpers in the second half.
