Saturday November 23, 2024
From Booneville HS
Booneville, MS
Stats are from the official scorebook.
(G) Booneville Lady Blue Devils 6-2 (3A Booneville, MS) 46
Neshoba Central Lady Rockets 3-3 (6A Philadelphia, MS) 45
Notes: Booneville was able to avoid the comeback attempt from a very deep and young Neshoba Central team. Kylee Johnson (5-7 ’25 G Booneville) paced Booneville with 14 while connecting on 3 of the teams 8 three pointers in the game. Bella Nunley (5-8 ’28 G Booneville) connected on 3 three pointers to score 13 points in the first half.
Kyli Truss (5-7 ’26 G Neshoba Central) dropped 15 points for a very feisty Lady Rocket team.

(B) Booneville Blue Devils 5-2 (3A Booneville, MS) 77
Neshoba Central Rockets 2-4 (6A Philadelphia, MS) 53
Notes: Kedrick Simmons (6-7 ’25 G Booneville) played on cruise control to earn Player of the Game honors. Camryn Hampton (6-6 ’26 F Booneville) battled down low on his way to 14 points.
Neshoba Central has a really young team to watch out for next year. Cam Hickman (6-6 ’27 F Neshoba Central) looks really good around the paint. Alex Thompson (6-5 ’27 F Neshoba Central) and Tae’shaun Shumake (6-3 ’27 F Neshoba Central) are solid shooters. Emjae Willis (5-7 ’26 G Neshoba Central) is an elusive guard. Kendarius Thomas (6-2 ’27 F Neshoba Central) is a well put together wing that has a bright future. They also have a prospect that is hard to come by in Mississippi with Charlie Moran (6-10 ’27 F/C Neshoba Central). That height is hard to find and I watched him play in the JV game and he has the potential to develop into a next level player over the next few years.
