East Union gets a solid home victory in the 1st round.
Region 3 #3 O’Bannon (15-7) #13 travels 163 miles to Region 2 #2 Ingomar (22-10) #7
Ingomar takes some anger out on O’Bannon in this one after a division upset. Ingomar is hard to beat at home.
Region 1 #4 Walnut (16-14) #16 travels 164 miles to Region 4 #1 Philadelphia (17-9) #15
This game will be a great game to see. Walnut has a scrappy bunch but the travel will be a little too much to overcome. Of all of the 1-4 match-ups, this is the one Philly didn’t need to see. I can also see this being an upset special too. If it wasn’t for the next game it would be my top choice.

My game I’d love to see in this round is this one. Coach Daren Coffey has a young, up and coming bunch that has the ability to pull off the road victory but they have been up and down this season. North Side is a very solid dark horse in 2A. This would be a fun one to watch. I’m taking North Side at home in a close one.

Pelahatchie rolls in this one.
Region 8 #3 Collins (8-15) #29 travels 61 miles to Region 5 #2 Newton (15-8) #5
Newton wins a comfortable home game in the 1st round.

Leflore County gets the easy win at home. They have been flying under the radar all season and have the ability to make some noise in the playoffs.

I’m taking the road team in this one. Hamilton is way better than a break even ball club and they have really developed as the season went along. Scooter Willis will be too hard for Eupora to handle in this one.

Palmer had the huge division upset over Ingomar to get the 1 seed and they were rewarded with a smooth 1st round match-up. Palmer rolls in the 1st round.

New Site at home in the playoffs is a win. This one should be a comfortable game for them to handle.
