Belmont rolls in the 1st round.
Region 3 #3 Amanda Elzy (10-15) #27 travels 101 miles to Region 2 #2 Independence (21-7) #11
Independence gets an easy 1st round win.
Region 1 #4 Alcorn Central (15-11) #8 travels 62 miles to Region 4 #1 Mooreville (17-7) #9
Alcorn Central is only a 3 seed because they are in the same division as Booneville and Belmont. They would most likely win any other division in the state. They were upset in the division tournament and dropped to the 4 spot. Mooresville is a very solid 1 seed but they have a tough battle. I’d love to see this game but I’m rolling with Central on this one.

North Panola goes to Belzoni and barely gets the 1st round win.

South Pike advances to the 2nd round with a solid win.

Tylertown gets the home nod in this close game.
Region 7 #4 Franklin County (10-14) #24 travels 74 miles to Region 6 #1 Jefferson Davis County (21-5) #6
JDC gets a solid 1st round win.

OLA is a very solid team but I don’t think they can overcome SE Lauderdale at home.

Everything is showing Yazoo County in a big win but my gut keeps telling me Holly will drop this one in a close game.
Region 1 #3 Kossuth (15-11) #12 travels 126 miles to Region 4 #2 Choctaw County (17-8) #14
This may be my choice to be at it I couldn’t make Central/Mooreville in 3A. Kossuth pulled off the big upset to get the 3 spot and I think this game will be won by a game winner. I’m taking Choctaw at home but I can see Kossuth advancing if they get the last shot.
