Senatobia gets a very solid 1st round win.
Region 1 #4 Amory (8-19) #32 travels 124 miles to Region 4 #1 Choctaw Central (22-2) #1
Choctaw rolls in the 1st round.
Region 2 #3 New Albany (11-18) #28 travels 44 miles to Region 3 #2 Houston (21-7) #9
Houston gets a very solid 1st round home victory.
Region 6 #4 McComb (6-14) #29 travels 44 miles to Region 7 #1 Columbia (16-9) #21
Columbia notches the double-digit win at home.

This shows to be a very close game but I think Greene County pulls out a double-digit win.

Lanier gets the easy first round home win.
Region 8 #3 Bay (19-11) #13 travels 155 miles to Region 5 #2 Quitman (17-9) #8
This may be my game to see in 4A girls 1st round. This should be a barn burner and I see Quitman escaping with the home win.
Region 2 #4 North Pontotoc (11-18) #30 travels 94 miles to Region 3 #1 Louisville (15-4) #4
Louisville rolls with the 1st round win.
Region 1 #3 Shannon (10-13) #25 travels 140 miles to Region 4 #2 Newton County (14-7) #10
Newton County gets the win but I can see this game being much closer than it looks on paper. Shannon is much better than a 10 win 3 seed but I think the road trip knocks them out.
Region 3 #4 Kosciusko (20-8) #15 travels 98 miles to Region 2 #1 South Pontotoc (24-5) #6
I want to say South Pontotoc edges out the home victory but I can see Kosciusko seeking in and getting the road win. This has upset potential all over it. I’m still rolling with South for now.
Region 4 #3 Northeast Luaderdale (17-8) #5 travels 143 miles to Region 1 #2 Itawamba (16-8) #12
NE Lauderdale looks like a much better team on paper but Itawamba is a pretty good team. I think they are better than what it appears to be so I’m taking them in the upset(?) win. I’d also love to be there for this game too.
