Mooreville pulled off the big win over Alcorn Central in the 1st round. I see them getting the 2nd round win at home too.
Region 8 #2 Tylertown (12-8) #13 travels 22 miles to Region 7 #1 South Pike (15-7) #10
South Pike gets the home win in a close one.
Region 5 #2 Southeast Lauderdale (10-11) #15 travels 109 miles to Region 6 #1 Jefferson Davis County (22-5) #5
JDC gets the comfortable win at home.

Yazoo County gets the comfortable win at home.

Coach Michael Smith has been living right. Ruleville was able to pull of the 4-1 upset over what I considered to be the third best team in 3A. Booneville would have been traveling to Coahoma County and most likely ending their season. Now they are hosting In the 2nd round for a chance to play at Northeast CC. I like Booneville rolling in this one.
