Region 2 #2 Rosa Fort (20-6) #5 travels 124 miles to Region 1 #1 Booneville (25-4) #1
I think this is going to be a pretty good game. Rosa Fort has flown under the radar most of the season and should be considered one of the top 3A teams. However, they will be going against the 3A power at Booneville. Booneville gets the win in a closer than expected game.
Region 3 #2 Yazoo County (11-13) #11 travels 120 miles to Region 4 #1 East Webster (15-7) #9
Coach Jon GInn has his guys floating under the radar too this year. I’m taking East Webster in a comfortable win.
Region 5 #3 Noxubee County (7-10) #17 travels 217 miles to Region 7 #1 South Pike (16-9) #8
400 plus miles for Noxubee this week. One trip to the coast and now a trip to Southwest MS. South Pike gets a comfortable win at home.
Region 5 #2 Southeast Lauderale (13-9) #6 travels 124 miles to Region 6 #1 Crystal Springs (13-14) #15
I’m taking SE on the road in a close game.
Region 4 #2 Choctaw County (11-12) #20 travels 101 miles to Region 3 #1 Edwards (23-7) #3
Edwards wins at home but I think this will be much closer than it appears.
Region 1 #2 Alcorn Central (19-12) #12 travels 157 miles to Region 2 #1 Coahoma County (27-4) #2
I really like Central but it’s hard to play on Coach Derrick Moore Court and get the win.
Region 6 #2 Magee (19-4) #4 travels 29 miles to Region 5 #1 McLaurin (25-5) #7
This will be an awesome game to attend. McLaurin get the home win in a very close game.
Region 7 #2 Franklin County (13-13) #16 travels 157 miles to Region 8 #1 St. Stanislaus (19-6) #10
St. Stanislaus gets the solid win at home.
