Magnolia Hoops is currently looking for volunteers that are interested in covering high school hoops in Mississippi. This is a great way to get teams and players exposure and accolades. There are no requirements for experience or expertise. Here is a list of people that may be interested:
High school or college journalism students
High school or college sports information directors wanting to get info out
Teachers
Coaches
Parents
Fans
Students
Aspiring scouts wanting a platform to showcase their skills
Coaches, players and fans are always voicing their frustration of never getting games covered or not getting any love from the media. This is your chance to take advantage of a social media platform and website that reached over 1.5 million eyes last season alone. This includes the boys and/or girls teams. The format can be whatever you choose to do. You can do the following:
Full articles on tournaments, games, teams or individual players
Short game pieces
Game note recaps
Simple box scores

I’m still going to do everything that I possibly can to get the most info out but I’m handcuffed with time, distance and availability. I’m providing my platform as a way to get more of our Mississippi basketball out to the fans and get these kids more exposure.
