December 18-23 Report
I was only able to attend one set of games this week and it will be included in this report and the others are where I had to sit home and watch. I was going to be able to see 50 plus teams this week and didn’t get to make it around the state due to sickness/injury. There has never been a year to where I’ve missed so many basketball games and I’d like to apologize for not being able to. Please send thoughts and prayers my way for proper healing of my injuries (pulled muscles and muscle spasms) and a guard me from getting sick (already had upper respiratory infection, flu, sinus infection). This is a passion to cover high school basketball and I want to give it my all but I haven’t been physically able to.
Next, I would like to lift up a high school baller that suffered through a recent tragedy and is very blessed to still be alive. La’Devin “Devin” Allen (5-7 ’18 PG Tupelo) was injured last week in a house fire. The starting PG for Tupelo needs your players and encouragement. It will be a long recovery but, Good Lord willing, he’ll be able to break some ankles again one day. Send him good thoughts and messages in the links below.
