This could easily, in my opinion, be the best MS team ever to compete in this game. MS pulled away as the game went along and never looked back with the hot shooting. Mississippi was just too hot from behind the arc going 15-29 for 3’s. The Alabama Coaching staff and some of the players are no strangers to Mississippi. Coach Robi Coker and Jeffery Armstrong from Plainview competed in the Hot Bed Classic in New Albany this season. Coach Heath Burns, Jayce Willingham and Isaac Chatman from Cordova competed in the Tangle on the Trail in Pontotoc and the Hot Bed Classic from New Albany. Diante Wood from Sacred Heart, Jared Sherfield and Dylan Robertson from Paul W. Bryant all competed in the Tangle on the Trail from Pontotoc.
