Provine (13-15) #44 travels 164 miles to Columbus (16-10) #37- A very talented Provine team travels to the Golden Triangle to face a very young, talented Columbus squad. I can see this coming down to a buzzer beater.

Saltillo (23-5) #21 travels 147 miles to Holmes County Central (17-11) #34- I think this could be a very fun game to watch. It could be fast-paced and up-tempo for both teams.

Natchez (14-11) #73 travels 245 miles to Pascagoula (16-12) #76-Two very even teams going at it. The distance that Natchez has to travel is crazy but they also have a Squirt. Senior Squirt Stampley can lock down the best of players and has a refuse to lose attitude. This is another toss up.

Coach Patrick and his Holmes County Central guys get a shot at the second round with his home game against Saltillo. Coach Lauderdale has a fast and talented group that are hungry to advance to the second round. I think home court gets the upset in this one.
