From Wheeler HS
Wheeler, MS
(G) Ingomar Lady Falcons (1A New Albany, MS) 61
Wheeler Lady Eagles (1A Wheeler, MS) 33
Notes: Ingomar was playing typical Ingomar ball and came away with a very solid win against a good Wheeler team. Despite playing with foul trouble, Macie Phifer (5-11 ’25 F Ingomar 15 pts 9 reb 2 blk 2 st) still earned Player of the Game honors in a very down game for her. Rebekah Mason (’24 F/C Wheeler 8 pts 10 reb 1 blk 1 st) posted a near double-double for the Lady Eagles in the loss.

(B) Ingomar Falcons (1A New Albany, MS) 61
Wheeler Eagles (1A Wheeler, MS) 55
Notes: Ingomar and Coach Ashley came in with a young and rebuilding team and in typical Ingomar fashion fought Wheeler until the end to come up with the win. He has a team loaded with freshmen and sophomores. Breyden Tillery (5-10 ’26 F Ingomar 9 pts (7 in 4th qtr) 5-5 ft 5 reb 3 ast) scored 7 points in the final frame and knocked down 2 two free-throws to solidify the win. He earned Player of the Game honors with his final frame play. NyShaun Hutcheson (6-3 ’23 F Wheeler 27 pts 7-10 ft 4 reb 2 blk 2 st) put together a very solid performance for the new Coach Howell at Wheeler. Eli James (6-3 ’24 G Wheeler 12 pts 3-4 ft 1 three 3 reb 4 ast 6 st) is a very talented guard to keep an eye on for the Eagles.
