The ARS/Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest, formerly know as the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest, never disappoints when it comes to bringing talent to the deep south. Here’s the results from this past weekend. Thanks to Magnolia Hoops contributor Wesley Odle for the info provided in the report.

Olive Branch pulled off the biggest upset in the history of MS basketball Friday night by knocking off the #1 ranked team in the country. DJ Jeffries (6-8 ’19 G Olive Branch 15 pts 11-12 ft 7 reb 2 ast) led the charge against his AAU Coach Penny Hardaway. Joee Cooper (6-0 ’19 PG Olive Branch 19 pts 7-11 fg 3 3’s 3 reb) earned MVP honors in the game.
