He’s a sneaky forward that can score in multiple ways on the court. Tanner Woods (6-7 ’18 F/C Magnolia Heights 12 pts 3-5 fg 6-8 ft 4 reb) lived up the hype as one of the most solid college ready players in the state. He is one of the most solid fundamental rebounders in the state. Aaron McIngvale (6-2 ’18 SF Magnolia Heights 16 pts 6-7 fg 3 3’s 4 reb 2 ast) is a solid shooter from outside and mid-range.

What a game. Logan Thompson (6-4 ’18 C Copiah Academy 2 reb 2 st) took the game winning charge to earn Player of the Game honors. Copiah Academy also had a few other stars contribute quality play. Dewey Shannon (6-4 ’19 G/F Copiah Academy 19 pts 2 3’s 10 reb 3 ast 3 blk 5 st) looks the part of a next level stud in the making and he quietly put up a next level stud stat line. Dalton Hayes (6-2 ’19 F Copiah Academy 10 pts 11 reb 4 ast 3 blk 3 st) had a strong defensive performance and a double-double. Josh Day (6-2 ’18 G Adams County Christian/Co-Lin CC baseball 25 pts 4-5 ft 20 reb 2 ast 4 st) did everything he possibly could in the losing effort. He put up the best stat line to in the last two days.
